The IMA hosted its 2026 Legislative Briefing & Reception at the Hyatt Regency, in downtown Indianapolis, on January 7, 2026. We were excited to see IMA members and legislators connecting to discuss important issues at this one-of-a-kind event! The IMA Executive Committee and the Board of Directors met prior to the briefing and reception and elected new officers for 2026.

 
The Legislative Briefing featured Speaker of the House Todd Huston who discussed priorities for the upcoming legislative session and the IMA’s Governmental Affairs team, consisting of Andrew Berger, Sam Charron and Ashton Eller, who spoke about many of the bills that have been introduced and their possible impact on Indiana manufacturers.

Following the briefing, IMA members, legislators and other guests attended the 2026 Legislative Reception. IMA members enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, music and the opportunity to speak with legislators and industry peers.

The reception drew more than 400 members, legislators and special guests.
