Conexus Indiana on Tuesday launched a job board featuring thousands of open positions statewide in advanced manufacturing and logistics.

By bringing job listings together into one searchable platform, the Conexus Indiana Job Board gives job seekers a clearer path into those industries and gives employers a more efficient way to reach qualified candidates, the organization said.

“Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics companies are the backbone of our economy, and they need a direct line to the people who want to build careers in this industry,” Conexus Indiana President and CEO Jay Wirts said in a news release. “This job board gives job seekers a clear front door and gives employers across the state a stronger way to find the talent they need.”

The job board at launch featured more than 9,000 open positions in advanced manufacturing and logistics from more than 3,500 employers. About 60% of the positions are in manufacturing, and about 40% are in logistics. Job seekers can filter by region, role type, experience level and other criteria.

The job board is set up using Ascend Indiana’s on-line job platform, the Ascend Network. Ascend Indiana is the workforce development initiative of the CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership. Conexus Indiana, a statewide initiative that promotes Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industry, also is a CICP initiative.

Last month Conexus Indiana launched an online use-catalog to help companies in the advanced manufacturing and logistics sectors make the most of artificial intelligence.
