Our affinity partner Safety Management Group (SMG) has invited IMA members to attend a tour of their hands-on safety training center, located in Lebanon, Indiana.
ABOUT THE SAFETY YARD
The Safety Yard was created with safety professionals, field teams, and contractors in mind.
At The Safety Yard, you'll get a first-hand view of the practical, hands-on training SMG provides that prepares workers for real jobsite hazards. SMG courses put trainees directly into situations where they'll use the same safety equipment and procedures that they'll rely on in the field.
Attendees don’t just sit through presentations – they are actively engaged with safety systems like fall protection, lockout/tagout, confined spaces, heavy machinery and much more. The goal is to give trainees practical skills that stick, so when they're back on the job, they know exactly what to do.
