Brian began his career at IMA in June 1999, and became IMA President & CEO on July 1, 2015.  He has lobbied the Indiana General Assembly and Congress on a variety of issues including human resources, labor, energy and economic development. He has served on numerous boards and commissions and is a frequent speaker at business events throughout the state. With more than 30 years of legislative experience, Brian is a recognized leader in advocating for a positive business climate that expands opportunities for Indiana’s dominant business sector, manufacturing.

Andrew Berger,

Andrew Berger began at the IMA in December 2014. Prior to that, Andrew was Director of Governmental Affairs and General Counsel for the Association of Indiana Counties. In addition, he has worked with the Indiana Senate, Lt. Governor’s office and the Indiana State Budget Agency. Andrew is a graduate of Hanover College and the Indiana University School of Law. Andrew specializes in tax, energy, environment, tort/civil law, and health care policy. 

Malika Butler,

Malika Butler began at the IMA in June 2018. Prior, Malika served as the Manager of Political Affairs for the Indy Chamber, leading its Business Advocacy Committee PAC’s fundraising efforts, managing the political movement and taking part in the public policy process before the Indiana General Assembly. Further, Malika worked in multi-client legislative lobbying, for the Indiana House of Representatives and the House Republican Campaign Committee. Malika is a graduate a Indiana University and will be pursuing her Master of Business Administration at the Kelley School of Business.

Michael F. Gamage,

Mike joined the staff of the IMA in 1988. Mike provides technical support for IMA computer and communication networks.  He also handles building contract issues, as well as other operational functions. He also assist with database functionality, reports and various other technological issues.

Chris Wallis

Chris Wallis began at the IMA in October of 2019.  Chris has served as a manufacturer’s representative for many years in the state, as well as a small business owner in the promotional marketing industry.  Chris’ focus with the IMA will be centered around new member acquisition & member retention initiatives. He will be working to expand a strong membership base to bring even more value and cost savings to the manufacturing community in Indiana.

Charlene Hickey,

Charlene joined the IMA staff in 1986. Charlene is responsible for IMA publications (IMANET, Daily Update, Executive Memo, HR Memo, TaxTalk, Environment & Energy Forum and Weekly Legislative Update), ad placement and scheduling, press releases, media inquiries, online communications, and social media.  She also maintains the IMA website and its content and performs graphic design functions.

Kathy Gundle,

Kathy came to the IMA in 2010. Kathy is responsible for organizing IMA meetings/events, including the IMA Legislative Reception, the IMPAC Golf Outing and the OSHA training courses, just to name a few. In addition, she contacts members to help IMA stay abreast of member needs, requests and concerns. 

Lori Martin,

Lori became a staff member of the IMA in 1988, when she began as adminstrative assistant to the president. Through the years her role has changed and Lori now manages IMA’s membership database. She also handles membership questions, creates reports and processes dues payments.

Jeffrey B. Goodwin,

Jeff Goodwin began his career with IMA in 1990.  Jeff is currently a member of the Board of Directors of both the Indiana and Indianapolis Association of Health Underwriters.  Jeff holds an active Indiana Life, Accident & Health and Property and Casualty license.  His areas of specialization include health care and health-related insurance issues as they affect the manufacturing community.
