Brian Habacivch began his career in the energy industry as the Associate Editor of Gas Daily, the nation’s leading natural gas market publication. He was responsible for the daily spot market pricing survey and various indices used widely by gas producers, marketers, end-users, and traders. He also covered the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from Gas Daily’s Washington D.C. headquarters. Brian has worked in natural gas, liquid fuel, electric power marketing, business development, consulting management, and energy market intelligence with various companies and brings over 25 years of experience to the fore.

Currently, Brian is a Director with Constellation Energy’s Commodities Management Group (CMG). Constellation Energy is one of the largest retailers of natural gas to the commercial and industrial customer class in the U.S. with over 650 Billion Cubic Feet per year of sales, and is the largest provider of electricity to commercial and industrial end-users. Constellation Energy is wholly owned by Exelon Corporation, one of the largest utility holding companies in the U.S. with market capitalization greater than $30 billion. Constellation Energy’s Commodities Management Group (CMG) provides energy market intelligence and analytics to customers throughout the U.S.

Brian’s comments and views have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and Industry Week. Brian is a member of the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers Association Shale Energy Committee, has been a past member of the Aluminum Association of America, and has been a featured speaker at numerous energy industry conferences in North America and the European Union.

Ranjan Ezra has 17 years of experience in the energy industry. Ranjan is a currently a Sr. Solution Development Manager in the Constellation Solutions Team, working with C&I customers and prospects on data analytics and sustainability strategies. Prior to this role he has held positions as a Sr. Manager of the Northeast Sales Support team managing Renewal & Support Account Managers, a Principal in the Commodity Management Group and Market Pricing & Structuring teams working on the structuring of retail power deals, providing strategic and technical market expertise to the Sales Teams and C&I Customers. 

Before joining Constellation, Ranjan worked at Independent System Operator New England (ISO-NE), as an Analyst in the Market Development team working with New England Power Pool Stakeholders on developing and enhancing the Energy Market Design in New England.

 

Ranjan is a Certified Renewable Energy Professional (REP) with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Boston University, a Master of Science in Operations and Information Technology and  a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
