IMA Announces Promotions of Governmental Affairs

In its ongoing mission to represent and advocate on behalf of Hooiser manufacturers, the Indiana Manufacturers Association (IMA) is pleased to announce the promotion of two of its governmental affairs leaders.
Effective July 1, Andrianna Moehle will become Vice President of Energy, Environment and Infrastructure Policy. In this role, Andrianna will continue her work with government and industry stakeholders to create best outcomes for manufacturers throughout the state in these key areas. Since she began at the IMA, Andrianna has worked with IMA members to help pass sweeping industrial recycling reform. Additionally, she worked on the passage of a statewide framework for carbon capture and sequestration. She has also been engaged on a variety of regulatory matters to help bring IMA members regulatory certainty and predictability, and to ease cost burdens.
Also effective on July 1, Sam Charron will be promoted to Vice President of Employment Law and Workforce Policy. Sam's dedication to these crucial areas will be vital to Indiana manufacturers as he collaborates with agencies, legislators, and other stakeholders to advocate for programs that benefit manufacturers. Since joining the IMA, Sam aided in the of crafting comprehensive worker’s compensation law, advocated for responsible workforce development spending within the state's budget legislation, and helped to draft a childcare tax credit for employers. Most recently, Sam worked on a package of bills designed to reform the state’s civil law system.
"Both Andrianna and Sam have taken the reins in their respective areas of advocacy and we are pleased with the work they have done in representing our members to legislators, government agencies, and the public," said Brian Burton, President and CEO of the IMA. "With the continually changing landscape of regulatory and legislative laws and rulemakings, it's important that we have key advocates, like Andrianna and Sam, engaged and involved in bringing forth issues that specifically impact manufacturers."
With these new promotions, the IMA will continue to effectively promote, protect and advance Indiana manufacturing through its legislative and regulatory work.
