2024 Election Results
The Indiana Manufacturers Association and the Indiana Manufacturers Political Action Committee (IMPAC) are proud to report that on Election Day, our endorsed candidate for Governor – U.S. Senator Mike Braun – won overwhelmingly, securing over 50% of the vote in Indiana. The IMA’s endorsed candidates for state legislative races also performed well. All 69 of the candidates endorsed by the IMA won in their various races for the State Senate and the State House of Representatives. This includes 65 incumbent legislators and 4 candidates for open seats.
“We are very pleased with the General Election results,” said Chief Operating Officer and Incoming President Andrew Berger. “We plan to continue to focus our political strategy on electing candidates that make public policy decisions with Indiana’s most important industry in mind.”

Meet Ashton Eller, the IMA’s Newest Team Member
Ashton Eller joined the IMA team this autumn. A veteran in both the political and government affairs arenas, Ashton brings an extensive background in working with policymakers to advance the legislative goals of industry. Previous to working with the IMA, Ashton worked for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for over 16 years – the last two as the vice president of health care policy and employment law. Before his most recent role Ashton worked on the Chamber’s political action committee working to elect pro-business candidates to the Indiana legislature.
“I am thrilled to join the Indiana Manufacturers Association. I believe whole-heartedly in its mission to advocate for public policies that promote Indiana’s strongest economic driver – manufacturing,” Ashton said. “I look forward to the challenges of this role and engaging with IMA members, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advance the IMA’s priorities and defend against dangerous public policy that will impair the manufacturing industry.”
Prior to his time with the Indiana Chamber, Ashton worked for two years at the Indiana Department of Labor. He also is a former president and member of the Indiana State Fair Board of Directors. In his spare time Ashton enjoys spending quality time with his family, trips to his family’s farm, and visiting Indiana’s state parks.
Ashton holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and geography from Indiana University-Bloomington. A Hamilton County native, Ashton and his wife, Jessica, live in Westfield with their three daughters.
